Welcome to CQUPT Schedule (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our App.
Core Commitment: The App is designed with a "Local First" approach. Except for direct interactions with your university's official educational administration system, we do not upload your educational credentials, schedule data, or personal privacy to any external third-party or developer servers.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
In order to provide our core schedule query and customized assistant features, we only access and process information under the following essential circumstances:
- Educational System Credentials (Student ID & Password): When you log in to the App, your student ID and password are only used to make a direct, secure connection and authenticate with the official Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) educational administration system. These credentials are **only encrypted and stored locally on your device (Keychain / iOS Secure Storage)**, and are never uploaded to any other server.
- Class Schedule & Exam Data: Once authenticated, the App directly retrieves your class schedule, course adjustment notices, exam schedule, exam rooms, and seat numbers from the university system. This data is stored strictly on your device (iPhone / iPad) and paired Apple Watch, and is used for UI rendering, Lock Screen/Home Screen Widgets, Dynamic Island Live Activities, and alarm configurations.
- iCloud & Device Synchronization: If you have enabled Apple's iCloud backup or multi-device sync, your custom preferences and widget layouts may be synced securely via Apple's official iCloud infrastructure. The developers of this App have no access to any data in your personal iCloud storage.
2. Data Security & Retention
- Local Encryption: Sensitive data such as your student ID, password, and schedules are stored securely on your device using built-in iOS/watchOS hardware-accelerated encryption technologies.
- Transit Security: All communications between the App and the official CQUPT educational system are encrypted using standard Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (HTTPS) to ensure data transit security.
- No Central Server: We do not operate any external registration system or maintain any cloud databases to store your private student details.
3. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App is purely utility-driven and **does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, user behavior tracking, or analytics platforms**. All iOS system feature integrations (including Widgets, Live Activities, Apple Watch extension, etc.) are built directly using native Apple APIs and are safely sandboxed by the underlying iOS/watchOS operating systems.
4. Your Rights & Control
You have absolute control over your personal data:
- Data Deletion: You can completely and instantly delete all data stored locally on your iOS/watchOS devices by choosing "Log Out" within the App settings or by simply uninstalling the App from your device.
- Permission Control: You can manage or disable system permissions such as Notifications, Alarms, and Live Activities at any time via your device's System Settings.
